I was looking back over all my “Love in a Box” posts and discovered that I did not post for December and now January posts so I will try to get caught up with my past “Love in a Box” posts.
I started last year making advent calendars, so this year’s is a Christmas Countdown Tree made on my Silhouette, Design #51935. I loaded it was cash for the 5th and the 24th, candy, nuts, games, lead for his lead pencils, lighted lego blocks, Hot Wheels, etc.
On the twenty-fifth he was given more cash to purchase items that he wanted.
He requested these “Mega Construx Breakout Beasts” and a bouncy ball.
Each year I will try to make a Christmas Ornament for our grandson, so when he has his own home one day, he will have a few ornaments to put on his own tree. This one I made using a silhouette photo from this year and inserted it in the bottle.
A few treats…as usual their favorite fruit and nut bars, pistashios,
and a gingerbread house filled with goodies. The gingerbread house is a combination of two different Silhouette patterns, #43733 and #69482.
Our grandson requested a duplicate bookmark, as he gave the first one I made to a friend. So glad he likes to share. The tic tac box is Silhouette design #61949 (box) and 235033 (Glory to God).
Our grandson Christmas card was created from Silhouette design #13136. I added a money pouch and a special greeting on the back.
This christmas coffee card for our daughter was a borrowed design from Sewpaperpaint.blogspot.com. Mine was a bit different, but forgot to take a picture of before sending. Tucked in a bit a Christmas and coffee cash.
And as always, the most important gift, “The Word of God” guides. How wonderful to be able to set time aside to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior. Yes, thanks be to God for his unspeakable gift!!
Pray you all enjoyed a blessed Christmas!
