I had such a fun time putting together these gifts for some sweet little friends. Just with their presence they bring such joy to our hearts…they truly are such a delight!
I like the challenge of gift giving that spares the receiver of sugar-laden sweets so I thought this St. Pat’s themed purse was such a great idea for the three girly girls. I put a magnetic closure on the front pocket. This is Silhouette design #57257. One of the mothers told me that dad and daughter have weekly dates and go shopping… how perfect…she can use a little green.
Then I had to come up with and idea for the boys…of course, wallets.
These were designed on my Silhouette using design #60408. The St. Patrick’s Clover pattern is design #187375. I like being able to use purchased patterns which enables me to fill in required areas and size them to my liking. The St. Pat’s greeting was a download from Google images.
I designed these tags on my Silhouette and tied them to squeezable applesauce packs.
I was wondering if the children would really undertand the idea of getting pinched on St. Patrick’s Day, but to my surprise, they and their parents were all wearing green.
When I remarked how great that was, their response was “We didn’t want to get pinched.” How great was that!
We were so pleased to receive in return such beautiful “Thank You’s.” They all are learning to use watercolors. Love having these works of art displayed on our fridge!
This double fold St. Pat’s Card was an idea that was an inspiration out of our
Church Ladies Card Cafting evening. Our pastor’s wife and friend, Crystal, is so very talented when it comes to crafts. I put a Irish twist on this card and felt the Irish Blessing on the inside was so perfect for a friend who encourages me on a daily basis. She truly is a blessing to so many. The die cut doily is from Papertrey Ink. The shamrock is from the Silhouette store design #250822.

Made this card for my friend Marlene. She is so very dear to me. Enjoyed having her for a birthday dinner and a great time of fellowship together. She loves purple! This card is Silhouette Design #12477 Grandma’s Tablecloth Double Edge. Stamps are Stampin Ups “Birthday blooms.”
Well that sort of catches me up on some crafting, and now I would like to get started on sa few Easter cards and gifts.
