Creative Corner – Valentine Matchbox Treats

I was looking to find a crafty Valentine gift for the “Sweethearts” in my Senior High Sunday School Class and found this great idea on Pinterest.  I did have to make some adjustments to the measurements from the original post to accommodate a larger sized chocolate treat.

I found these yummy Russell Stover Truffle Hearts on sale at Walgreens to tuck inside the matchbox cover.  When I shared with the clerk that they were for my Sunday School students, she gave me an additional discount.  How great was that!

Instructions for making the project are below.  I have included the original post from pinterest for the smaller version.  I just may have to make smaller ones for our St. Patrick’s Day for our grandson’s March Love Package.
