Thankful Thursday

I am thankful for:

Time spent with our dear, darling daughter and our beloved grandson last week.  Our week was jam-packed with fun activities…visiting the Sea Life Aquarium, breakfasts at McDonald’s, lunches at Rudy’s BBQ and Golden Corral,  after evening church fellowship at Culvers, dinner with our Pastor and family, making pies and scones, setting up
the farm with grandpa, going to the park and a movie, a visit with friends and daily dips in the pool.   Their visit with us went so very quickly, and we cherished every moment we shared with them.

Unfortunately, our grandson came down with a respiratory and ear infection on the Monday, visited Prompt Care on Tuesday  and spent the remainder of the week recovering from his infection.  It didn’t seem to slow him down a bit.  We were thankful that he did recover well with a couple of restful days and was able to enjoy the activities of the week.  What a wonderful week filled with smiles and laughter, hugs and kisses, activity and rest, teachable moments, and unforgettable memories!

We are blessed!
