His Word for My Week – Antidote for Fear

Scripture
psalm 121

Reflection
This Psalm is such an antidote for fearfulness.  How good it is to remember that:
The Lord is our Helper, our Keeper, and our Preserver – Psalm 121
God fights for us – Joshua 23:10, 2 Chron. 32:8
He will never leave us or forsake us – Hebrews 13:5, Joshua 1:5
If God is for us, who can be against us?  – Romans 8:31
I will fear no evil, for Thou are with me. – Psalm 23:4

God promises us His ever presence, going before us and behind us; He has us covered.
His limitless power and resources are at our disposal.  When we are having one of those
“Woe-be-me” days, lets remember that “We’re on the winning side!”

Have a fearless day,

One Response to His Word for My Week – Antidote for Fear

I love this. This is so true. I always loved reading how when Joshua was scared to go into his first battle, the Lord said to him: “Chazak v’Ematz”. Which in Hebrew means Be strong and Be courageous.
